The Giant Cupcake

We celebrated my little (23!) brother's birthday this past weekend. Ever since my infatuation with Food Network during the first few weeks with Lucky Baby, I have been a cooking fanatic. For me cooking fanatic means, once a week! Luckily, Mr. Lucky Designs is on the job! I spotted the Wilton Giant Cupcake on Outblush quite some time ago, and I was dying to try it. Well, I will say that it is definitely harder than it looks. You must measure each side to the perfect height, and definitely let the cake cool! (I am completely impatient.) All in all, I had a lot of fun baking, and it tasted good. What are your favorite baking tools? Would you bake for your own wedding?
