Announcing Lucky Baby

I wanted to share some of our baby announcements that did not make the cut. Because Lucky Baby's announcements are a fairly natural extension of my baby shower invitations, the design was easy! They will be delivered in green envelopes with wrap around labels, like just the invitations.

Cut Cardstock

On Blog Action Day, I mentioned one of the vendors I like to use. Today, I would like to post about another favorite vendor of mine. Cut Cardstock recently began a blog of their own, and were nice enough to include an example of my work that incorporated one of their products. Some of My Favorite Customers

I have to say that my friends and family have been so supportive of Lucky Designs. It is enjoyable to be part of their events. My friend Jeannie is being ordained this fall. She and I have been working together to come up with a simple and semi-formal design. Here are a few of the ideas we bounced around. I will post pictures of the final draft tomorrow.

More Monograms!

We have been busy, busy, busy here at Lucky Designs with wedding stationary. I have also had my first two orders for baby announcements which is also very exciting! Babies are always good news.

Welcome Baby Lily!

On Sunday, May 27th, my best friend welcomed her daughter Lilian Noelle. Unfortunately, I missed her by about a week, but it was great to see Chrissy barefoot and pregnant. Lily is one beautiful baby. She has already made my job of designing announcements easy!

Florida Here I Come!

Lucky Designs will be closed beginning May 16 through May 22. I will be heading down to St. Petersburg, Florida to welcome my best friend's baby. My college roommates all still live in Florida, where I resided for about seven years. I am happy to visit, especially in May when the weather is beautiful! I am hoping to catch some photographs of the baby, so I can create her custom announcements.

Lucky Baby!

Lucky Designs is happy to announce its baby line, Lucky Baby!. My friend (and matron of honor) recently asked for my help with a design for her goddaughter. She was creating a keepsake that included a picture. She asked for a design that was similar to an announcement. Abigail Rose seemed to go beautifully with purple and pink.
