While at the gym last night, I heard Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, and it instantly made me think of my wedding. My husband and I danced the very last dance of the night to this song, with a few close friends who were still around. It was so nice. My husband and I have so many songs that we consider to be "our songs", I hear one almost every day. I love it. In addition to our first dance (A Little Trip to Heaven by Tom Waits), we also have memories to go along with Hey Jude by The Beatles, When You Say Nothing At All by Allison Krauss, and Anything You Want by Roy Orbison. Do you and your guy have one than one song?
I love cake stands. I would like to have one for every occasion!
I would like to ask for some reader feedback for the new blog. (It is coming soon, I promise!) What tags/topics/labels are best, easiest to use when you are reading a blog? Do you like specific topics (i.e. Found on Etsy, Red and Blue Weddings, etc.), or general categories (i.e. Inspiration boards, Fashion, etc.) I would appreciate any feedback on what you find easy to use! Feel free to send me an email as well.

Lots of snow here in Ohio (and ice)! I am running a bit behind today. We are putting the finishing touches on the new Lucky Me, and moving Lucky Baby's blog to its own domain! I am hoping the redirect will update soon - the new domain is www.eluckybaby.com . In the meantime, here are a few beautiful dresses from Amsale. I love their new campaign in Martha Stewart Weddings.

Don't you just love Claire's hair and makeup? It is so soft, romantic, and natural. I think this would be a lovely look for a spring or summer wedding. Which celebrity sported your favorite look at the SAG awards?
I love these flower brooches from Deciduous Soul.
P.S. The new Lucky Me is on the way!! Please stop back next week. Have a great weekend.
I really love sending snail mail thank yous. For the holidays, I used these notecards (complete with kraft envelopes and wrap around labels). I wanted them to coordinate with our holiday cards, so I used the same polkadot and pinecone motif. I added the beautiful "thank you" via Martha Stewart's website.
Daisies are not just for a child's birthday party. This lovely wedding is my inspiration board come to life, but in a very glamorous way!
I have to say that my husband is very thoughtful. I am surprised more often than not with flowers when it is his turn to go to the grocery store. I noticed that he often brings home daisies. I completely agree with him. They are sweet, cheerful, and easy to take care of. This seemed like a perfect theme to use for Lucky Baby's first birthday party this spring. (I really cannot believe it has been almost a year already.) I chose daisies for a motif and navy and yellow for our colors. Yes, I am a bit obsessive. Yes, she won't remember. However, I want it to be special, and there will always be pictures. The invitation is also in the works of course. I will share them after they are completed. Here is a quick inspiration board I put together for the party. I feel so hip considering that I picked one of the chic color combinations for 2009 according to Kathryn!
