My husband and I are still recovering from the move yesterday. It was a busy, productive day. We are very excited about our new home. I will be back posting tomorrow, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Weddings In a Box for including Lucky Me on their list of Best Wedding Blogs & Blogs We Love. On Blog Action Day, I mentioned one of the vendors I like to use. Today, I would like to post about another favorite vendor of mine. This weekend, I was able to update my website a bit (which is ALWAYS a work in progress). I was very pleased to get the beginnings of my corporate logo page up and running. A business logo is very important and one of the first things your customers see. Lucky Designs has partnered with Gator Paper. Once you have a finalized logo, you can contact Gator Paper for tissue, wrapping paper and more.
We are currently updating our website for Lucky Designs. We wanted to give the site a face lift and make it a little easier to navigate. We are hoping to unveil the new site early next week. Lucky Designs is named after an idea that is very special. Before my husband and I got married, we were already talking about children. Of course names came up, as it does with most couples. I have some very specific ideas of what I would like to name my children - as did my husband surprisingly. Our son, according to him, should be named Lucky! I did not know how to take it since this seems to be a common name for man's best friend. He stated that we should give our son that name because he would be "lucky" have to us for parents! How could I argue? In the long run, the name felt like a good match for our business.
